Performing Arts
This term in Performing Arts, students will explore dance styles from different cultures and discover where some famous dances originated. This will lead us nicely into our Italian Day celebrations in Week 6! Students will also continue to develop their drama skills through activities focused on expression, confidence and performance techniques. Alongside this learning, students will be preparing for our Christmas Concert, developing their confidence, teamwork and performance skills as they rehearse through music, song and movement.
We look forward to a fun-filled term of dance, music, drama, culture, creativity and celebration!
Science
Get ready for a term of curiosity, experiments and plenty of “WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!” moments! Across Prep–6, students will explore the exciting world of chemistry, investigating materials, their properties and how they can change. Through hands-on experiments and investigations, students will make predictions, ask questions, test ideas, observe reactions and use evidence to explain what they discover. Think MythBusters meet Crunchlabs, our students thinking like true scientist, curiosity and investigation — big questions, surprising reactions, plenty of “let’s find out!” moments and lots of scientific fun!
Term 4 is going to erupt with fun in the science lab!
