Fete

The St Mary’s fete preparations have been well underway for some time. Please be sure to monitor our socials, Compass, and our newsletter for information on how to be involved. 

Parent Reps 

Every year level has two appointed Parent Reps to lead and support the parents of the activity and stall that you will be collectively responsible for on the night. We will also be looking for volunteers for set-up and pack-up of this event. Forms for committing to your volunteered time at the fete will be released next week. We are hopeful that every family will contribute what is requested to ensure we are all present and that this event is a huge success. 

Ticketing 

St Mary’s will release ticketing costs and purchasing options in the next fortnight to ensure families are well informed and have plenty of options to purchase tickets and tokens, minimizing line-up time on the night. Please watch socials, Compass, and our newsletter for this information. 

Donations of Items 

Over the time leading up to the fete, St Mary’s will ask that families donate a few items to contribute to the fete stalls and activities. We have staggered this over several weeks not to overwhelm families and strived to keep donations to minimal cost. We are extremely grateful for families who can contribute. More information next week regarding this.  

Responsible Serving of Alcohol 

St Mary’s has obtained a liquor license for this event for our parents to enjoy and catch up. In line with our liquor license, we need volunteers who may have an RSA. If you or any family member have an RSA and are willing to volunteer some time at this event, please email - tmcgillivray@smechuca.catholic.edu.au

Small Business Stalls: 

At our fete we are hoping to integrate and support our local business while offering them a small market stall for the event. If you have a business that trades in any small goods and would love to showcase your gifts and talents via our fete we would love to support you. Please read the information below, and contact the school to secure your stall!
