Hello from 4MD

It has been a busy, fun and delicious time in 4MD!

Literacy: We are coming to the end of our class novel, His Name Was Walter. The students have loved following the mystery and discovering what happens along the way. We have also been busy developing our narrative writing skills, creating interesting characters, settings and storylines.

Numeracy: We are wrapping up our measurement unit, where we have been learning all about perimeter and area. The students have been measuring, calculating and solving some tricky problems – with plenty of opportunities to put their maths skills to the test!

Food Science: This has definitely been a class favourite! We have started Food Science with Laura and have been busy investigating, creating and, most importantly, taste-testing! So far, we have made delicious yoghurt berry cups, mini pizzas and chocolate pastry braids. There have been plenty of happy faces, enthusiastic chefs and lots of excitement in the kitchen!

 Wacky Wednesdays: We have also been enjoying our Wacky Wednesdays, which have quickly become a favourite in 4MD! So far this term, we have had three Wacky Wednesdays, including Pyjama Day, and the students have loved getting involved.

It has been wonderful to see the students learning, creating, laughing and enjoying their time together in 4MD.
