Final Pupil Free days for 2026

Please take note of our final pupil free days that have been agreed to by School Council.

Friday 30th October (2026 Planning / Report Writing)
Monday 2nd November (Cup Eve) (Berry Street Training)

Classroom Doors Open at 8:45am, School Starts at 8:50am

Each day our classroom doors open at 8:45am so students can settle themselves and get organised for the start of the school day. Please plan to arrive at school on time for a 8:50am start. Our teachers have developed strong, positive routines at the beginning of the school day to support our students to settle in and engage in learning as soon as the bell rings. This includes marking the roll at 8:50am and beginning our teaching and learning activities straight away. When students arrive to school late, they take longer to settle into learning, and this can be unsettling for both them and their peers. Please support your child to enjoy a positive start to the school day and their learning by planning to arrive on time.

Parking

Langwarrin Family Chiropractic (next door to the school) is not parent parking. Please be respectful and keep this space available for clients attending the clinic for their appointments.

St Thomas Church on the corner of North Road and Warrandyte Roads is no longer allowing LPS and EMC parents to park for drop off and pick up. Very soon there will be a gate installed on the car park entrance to stop cars from using the car park area. I encourage parents to please use other legal parking areas or use the pickup/drop off zone at the front of the school. Thank you for your support with these matters.

2026 Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey

The information you provide as LPS community members is highly beneficial for guiding our next steps and decision making at the school. It is also an opportunity for us to hear your feedback and respond accordingly.

This will be open until 20th September. We really value parent input so if you get time, please spend some time completing the survey.

There will be a separate email sent reminding you of the link and code to use to complete the survey.

Mobile Phone Policy

Our Mobile Phone Policy (available on our school website) requires all students to hand their phones and smart watches to their teacher at the beginning of the school day so they can be securely stored. If your child has a mobile phone or smart watch that they bring onto the school premises, please ensure they are aware of these requirements. All government schools are mandated to enforce this policy.
