Visual Arts

This term in Visual Arts, students have begun with an engaging incursion led by Teagan and Fleur from the Benalla Art Gallery. They introduced a collection of sculptures on loan from the National Gallery of Australia, presented in specially curated suitcases.

Students explored a range of artistic techniques through discussion, observation and hands on interaction. The sessions were high interactive, allowing students to handle and closely examine each artwork, deepening their understanding of materials, form and artistic processes.

The suitcases have different themes including The Human Body, Form and Function, Past, Present and Future, Earth and Country. We were able to see a variety of these suitcases.
