Kindy - Year 2 Interhouse Cross Country
The Kindy to Year 2 Cross Country Carnival was held in perfect weather, creating a joyful and energetic morning for our Early Learning students. Hosted on the Junior School oval, the new course fostered a vibrant, close‑knit atmosphere where families gathered to cheer. The Kindy and Pre‑Primary students delighted spectators as they ran in butterfly and fairy wings, finishing with a celebratory dance and bubble party!
Year 1 and Year 2 students approached their races with a balance of fun and focus, applying lessons from The Hare and the Tortoise as they paced themselves with determination and smiles. The carnival was a true celebration of community, made possible by the dedication of the Grounds and Maintenance team, along with Mrs Rahni Hooker and the SHPE Department, whose efforts ensured a memorable experience for all.
Year 5 and 6 Grandparents and Special Friends Morning
We recently welcomed grandparents and special friends of Year 5 and Year 6 students for a heart‑warming morning that celebrated learning and community.
The event began in the Lower Theatre, where students delighted their guests with a performance that highlighted their confidence, creativity, and teamwork, earning warm applause from the audience.
After the performance, guests enjoyed morning tea before joining students in their classrooms to take part in shared activities. The event included grandparents, aunts, uncles and close family friends, ensuring every child had someone special to celebrate with. The morning created lasting memories and reflected the College’s strong commitment to connection, belonging and partnership with families.
Mother's Day Celebrations
It was a truly special time for our Kindy to Year 2 students as they welcomed their mothers into the classroom to celebrate together. The day was filled with fun and creativity, from making body scrubs and painting nails to crafting beautiful leaf necklaces.
Most importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity to simply spend quality time together, sharing smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments. Our students loved having the chance to show their appreciation for all that their mothers do.
We are so grateful to all the mothers who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. Thank you for everything you do—we truly appreciate you!
