Congratulations, and keep up the great work of following our school expectations.
Instrument Club
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new Instrument Club! This collaborative space brings together music lovers of all skill levels to connect, jam, and explore different sounds. Whether you are a seasoned musician looking to share your skills or a complete beginner eager to pick up an instrument for the first time, you will find a welcoming community here. Our regular sessions will feature group jam sessions and instrument-sharing workshops. It is the perfect opportunity to build your musical confidence, learn new techniques, and create beautiful music with a fantastic group of people.

Talent Show
The lunchtime talent shows have been postponed to Week 9 on Tuesday and Thursday due to crazy weather conditions this week. This means more time to practice. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Music Soiree
On Tuesday the 2nd of June, the school held a music Soiree for students to showcase their talents on a range of different instruments and also singing talents. We interviewed a couple of students to tell us their experience at the music soiree.

Liam Herath
When we got to the music soiree, I was really, really nervous about playing the violin, but when I started playing to the song, "Clown Dance", all my nervousness went away after I realised how good I am. When I came off the stage, my parents said I played the violin perfectly. I really enjoyed it when Mr.Lazurus got up on stage and started performing his released song on Spotify called "Key To Your Heart". At the end we all got certificates to thank us for making the time to come perform on stage. It was really fun!

At the Music Soiree night, I watched many of the students perform and play their instruments such as: violin, guitar, keyboard and drums; some students also sang. Mr Lazarus played his own song on the fun music night.
When it was my turn, I played the keyboard. At first, I felt anxious, but when I started playing the keyboard on stage, I felt my confidence boost. I played a song called "Ocean Eyes" by Billie Eilish, and it was overall very fun.
I would like to thank Mrs B for putting this all together, followed by Mr Lazarus, Mrs Glouftsis, Mr Pietryk, Mr Iacopino, Ms Ryan, Mrs Buttigieg and Mr Baldwinson for all coming to support us. A big thank you to Mrs Mancuso for allowing this event to take place. I am very proud of myself for getting a certificate, and to all the other people who participated.

A special thank you to Mrs B and Mr Lazarus for organising this Music Soiree. As students, we are privileged to have such talented music teachers, and as a school we are so lucky to have music as a specialist subject. Thank you to Mr.Cliff and Mrs Buttigieg for performing with Mrs B and Mr.Lazarus Our School Song, "We are Our Lady's.
Lastly, thank you to Mrs Mancuso and Mrs Glouftsis for allowing us to showcase our talents on stage. Good job to all the students who got up on stage and showed us their skills. It takes courage to perform in front of a big audience, and everyone did a fantastic job no matter where they are in their music journey.
Extra Long Weekend
Just a reminder that it is an extra long weekend, so there will be no school on Monday and Tuesday. We hope everyone enjoys this extra time with family and friends. Stay warm as the weather is getting colder.
Stay tuned and keep on reading our page in the newsletter, as we have some more exciting events happening next term.
See you all back at school on Wednesday!
