Mother's Day
Last week our Mother's Day celebrations were in full swing with our stall on Thursday and our celebration morning on Friday. The students indulged in some retail therapy with the 'choose your own adventure' table (where they could get 3 small items for 1 token) proving very popular.
A very big thank you to all of our volunteers, both in the lead up to the stall - processing student orders and setting up stock, and on the day - serving and packing up. We cannot run these events that are so special to our students if it were not for your assistance.
Our Mother's Day morning was started with a beautiful prayer by Lilla, Reya and Sebastian from our Faith and Mission team. The treasure hunt code 'You made today so special' was cracked by so many and 14 special prizes were handed out. We hope everyone was able to celebrate their mums and other special people in a meaningful way on Sunday.
Walk Safely to School Day Tomorrow!
Tomorrow we will participate in National Walk Safely to School Day.
Families are invited to meet staff at one of 4 local parks along the way to school at 8.30am. Please see the attached map.
1. Park on the corner of Creeds Farm Lane & Greenfields Drive
2. Park on the corner of McKillop Ave & Redding Rise
3. Park on the corner of Snugburgh/Starlight Garden & Shields St
4. Park on the corner of Redding Rise & Lyndarum Drive
You might like to walk the whole way or drive part of the way and then walk the remaining distance. Students will receive a sticker, stamp or tattoo to show their participation. Make sure you rug up as it is likely to be a cold morning!
