A Colourful Celebration: Holy Family’s 2026 Colour Explosion

What an unforgettable evening at this year’s Holy Family Colour Explosion! The school oval came alive as families gathered in great numbers, building an excited atmosphere ahead of the much-anticipated colour run. From the very first burst of colour, participants of all ages embraced the fun, making their way through the course and emerging covered in vibrant hues from head to toe.

Once the run wrapped up, the festivities continued in the quadrangle, where families enjoyed delicious food, sweet treats, and the Grade 6 activity stalls, which were once again a standout feature of the evening.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped bring this event to life. From the parent leaders who worked behind the scenes to organise the evening, our Grade 6 students for helping to organise and run the activity stalls to all those who generously gave their time on the night to serve at food stalls and help set up and clean up. Your support is invaluable and deeply appreciated. A special thank you to our amazing Holy Family Staff who were our chief colour throwers for the evening and maybe enjoyed it a little bit too much!

We are delighted to share that this year’s Colour Explosion raised an incredible $9,450. Thank you to all our families and friends who contributed through donations and sponsorships - your generosity makes a meaningful difference to our school. This is an amazing effort from our small but mighty community.

Events like this truly highlight what makes Holy Family such a special place and we continue to shine because of this wonderful community.
