Compassion Mission Trip 2027
During the Compassion AU workshops at the College recently, students learned about the daily realities of poverty facing many in our world, especially in Kupang, Indonesia, where our sponsors are located. They participated in activities to develop their empathy and understanding of key issues, and to encourage them to see how they can make a difference.
The Mission Trip planned for July 2027 for current Year 9-11 students held an information session online on Monday evening. If you weren’t able to connect at this time and are interested in this opportunity, please reach out to us soon so we can share the meeting recording with key information. We are seeking Expressions of Interest from students by the end of the term.
Whole School Mufti Day!
Careers Corner:
Year 10 Work Experience
A reminder that Year 10 should be working closely with their parents/carers to secure their work experience placements, and all forms are due back to the office by Friday the 26th June. This is an exciting time for students to gain a taste of the world of work in a career or industry that they are interested in. Please contact Mr Forbes-Taber if there are any questions or concerns at careers@wwcc.nsw.edu.au
University of Wollongong Open Day session @WWCC.
Coming up on the 3rd of July at 9am, staff from the University of Wollongong will be visiting the College to speak with our senior students about Tertiary education options and career pathways. This should be an excellent opportunity for our students to dive deeper into potential study options and courses, and find out about scholarships, early entry and about Uni life at UOW.
