Digi Tech - Cam Taylor
Students will learn about digital systems and networks, looking at the main components and the role they play in transmitting data. They will explore how digital systems are used in the community.
Art - Carmel Fitzgerald
Students will use different elements of artworks, (i.e. space, contrast and repetition) to express concepts in their creations, particularly with aspects of foreground, middleground and background. They will describe how artworks can be displayed in different ways, to enhance meaning. They will also describe how ideas are expressed in artworks from different times.
Music – Tania Rusbridge
Students will explore the fundamentals of digital music production using BandLab for Education. They will learn to compose, arrange, and edit music tracks by experimenting with loops, virtual instruments, and audio effects. Through hands-on projects, students will develop creative and technical skills to produce original digital compositions.
Science - Emma Jensen
Students learn how gravity keeps Earth in orbit around the Sun and explore how Earth’s movement causes day and night and season changes.
Indonesian – Bu Jacqui
This term students will revise vocabulary that they have learned over the past few years in Indonesian including greetings, hobbies and question words to introduce themselves and to understand simple conversations.
PE - Danielle Coates & Class Teachers
We will continue to prepare for the athletics sports. The remainder of the term will focus on invasion games, exploring court and field sports such as hockey, lacrosse, touch football, and AFL 9s.
These activities will give the students the opportunity to transfer their fundamental movement skills (FMS) and appreciate the importance of a solid foundation in enhancing their participation across a variety of team sports.
