Reading

This term, we will begin looking at the picture story book, ‘Free Diving.’ We will look at imagery and how images convey meaning. We will then move into the novel ‘Once.’ We look at different clauses within sentences and learn to understand the perspective of a young Jewish boy during WWII. 

Writing

We are looking at formulating a book report in conjunction with Free Diving. We will then move into creating an information report on Poland as we are read about it through our novel, ‘Once.’
