SPC Community Spirit Shines Bright!
What an incredible weekend for our school community!
A huge, heartfelt thank you to every parent, family member and volunteer who gave their time to help make Back to Breen such a fantastic success. From setting up and serving, to selling raffle tickets and lending a helping hand wherever it was needed, your energy, generosity and enthusiasm created a truly memorable day. The atmosphere was buzzing, and it was wonderful to see our community come together with such pride and positivity.
The celebrations aren't over just yet! We have one final barbeque to fire up as we support our soccer semi-finalists at the Powell Pavillion on Saturday 15 August. We would love to see our soccer families join us one last time as we cheer on our boys and celebrate what has been an exciting winter season. This barbeque will also mark the final opening of our winter canteen, making it a wonderful opportunity to finish the season together.
We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported our raffle. Every ticket purchased and every hour volunteered is helping us move closer to an exciting goal, creating refreshed and welcoming spaces through the renovation of the Year 12 lunch area and the Breen Oval canteen. It's inspiring to see what we can achieve when our community works together.
Thank you for your continued support, kindness and commitment to our school. Together, we're not just fundraising, we're building a stronger, more connected community for our sons. We can't wait to celebrate with you again at our final barbeque!
SPC Trivia Night – Every Donation Counts
Mark your calendars for Friday 23 October, when the SPC P&F Association hosts its much-anticipated Trivia Night at The Renaissance, Lidcombe. Gather your friends, test your trivia knowledge and enjoy a fun-filled evening while supporting our College community.
Trivia Night is set to be the P&F Association's major fundraising event for 2026, with proceeds helping to fund valuable College projects, including the planned upgrades to the Breen Oval Canteen and the Year 12 Lunch Area. Your support on the night will make a real difference for our students.
To help make the evening a great success, we are seeking donations for our raffle and Lucky Dip.
Raffle Donations
If you own a business or are able to donate a prize, gift hamper, voucher or unique experience, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please contact me or our Social Events Coordinator, Jaslyn Hewitt-Shehadie or Elena Ierado, directly or via parentsandfriends@spc.nsw.edu.au.
Lucky Dip Vouchers
Gift vouchers of any value are always popular and greatly appreciated. Suggestions include vouchers from Coles, Bunnings, JB Hi-Fi, Rebel Sport, restaurants, cafés, hairdressers, beauty services or any local business. If you have your own business, a voucher from you would also be warmly welcomed.
Vouchers can be sent to the College in an envelope clearly marked "P&F Association – Lucky Dip Voucher" and given to your son to deliver to College Reception, where a collection box will be available. Alternatively, you are welcome to drop your donation at College Reception yourself.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support. We look forward to sharing a memorable evening of fun, laughter and community spirit while raising valuable funds to benefit our College.
