Principal Update

An update from our Executive Principal

A quick thank you from Matt Carver.

Hello to all in the St Francis community,

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the kind wishes, messages, and support over the past six months. Your thoughtfulness has meant a great deal to me, and I’m grateful to be part of such a caring community.

As I return to work after some time away, I’ll be doing so gradually. I’ll be easing back in and steadily building up my time and responsibilities. I appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition. At the moment, I am working 3 half days. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8.30 to 12.30. I'm sharing an office with Bev at SMOTA.

I’m looking forward to reconnecting, catching up, and getting back into the rhythm of things.

Thank you again for your support—it’s made all the difference.

With Gratitude,

Matt Carver

 Updates from the Leadership Team

Dear Parents, Care Givers, Students, Staff and Friends of St Francis' Primary School,

As students and staff continue to work their way towards the celebration of Easter, we remain hope-filled and joyful in our learning. It is hard to put into words how much has been achieved in the past nine weeks; however, we remain focussed on continuing to take little steps together every day to do better.

I welcome families to join us at school on the final day of Term One- Thursday April 2nd. Our day will conclude with the school Cross Country commencing at approximately 11.45am. Please sign in at the school office and enjoy the event by supporting students in their efforts on the track.

Please note that Term Two will start for all students on Tuesday April 21st. Monday is a student free day as staff undertake a CESL Professional Learning Day together.

We will have a two-week transition period for the changeover to Winter uniform. In weeks one & two of Term Two students may wear either full summer or full winter uniform (no combinations). Please have students ready for their winter uniform from Monday May 4th.

Wishing everyone a blessed Easter

With peace & joy

 Chris Dainton
