School Policy Templates Portal Refresh
The School Policy Templates Portal (SPTP) has been refreshed and moved to the Department’s new intranet platform. The portal still has all the policy templates, information and resources to help schools develop, update and implement their local school policies.
The portal has a new look with improved features, including:
- improved search functionality
- a new Mandatory topics page
- a new Retired topics page and an improved Recently updated topics page
- enhanced implementation tables for each topic
- an expanded implementation table for each topic
- an updated downloadable spreadsheet of all policies, with links to templates and new columns to help you track local policy reviews
improved access, without the need to continuously log in.
Schools do not need to update their local policies as a result of this change. No new policy topics have been added. Some topics have been removed – these are listed on the retired topics page. Schools should continue updating their local policies following their usual review cycles.
Users accessing the old portal will be redirected to the new site. The portal is also linked from PAL and School Update online.
The portal was developed by the Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance (OPSEC) division, who are responsible for the Policy Advisory Library (PAL), Principal Advisory Service (PAS), School Update, School Operations Forward Planner and the Mandatory and Priority Training Planner.
