Maths Games Night – A Fantastic Success!

What a fantastic afternoon of mathematical fun at Highvale Primary School!
On Tuesday 27 October, our school community came together for an exciting Maths Games Night, filled with problem-solving, teamwork, laughter and learning.
In partnership with Mathnasium, students and their families enjoyed rotating through a variety of engaging, hands-on maths activities and challenges. From solving puzzles to exploring different mathematical strategies, everyone had the opportunity to think creatively, challenge themselves and discover that maths can be both fun and rewarding!
It was wonderful to see students sharing their mathematical thinking with their families, demonstrating persistence and working collaboratively to solve problems. The afternoon was made even more enjoyable with delicious pizza for everyone to share!
A huge thank you to Mathnasium for supporting and facilitating the event, and to all the families who attended and helped make the afternoon such a success.
Events like Maths Games Night highlight the importance of building positive attitudes towards mathematics and celebrating learning beyond the classroom. We look forward to more opportunities to bring our Highvale community together through a shared love of learning!
Congratulations to our raffle winners, Victoria and Roger Zhao, and Lilah Shoshan. They have won free enrolment to Mathnasium for the remainder of 2026. I will email you with more details.
