This Week At OOPS

During Term 3 the Grade 4 students were very busy learning about the Dairy Industry and in particular the topic of farm to plate. During the Kitchen/Garden Program the students completed learning tasks with Lucy M and submitted their learning into a digital learning journal that has been sent to Dairy Australia to be judged by a panel of 3 judges. In Art, the students used their newfound knowledge to design and create the artwork on Oopsie-Daisy. We have just submitted 5 photos of our finished cow also for judging by Dairy Australia. We will hear how our assessment went on 5 November 2026.
Our Year 3 & 4 students are back in the garden for Term 4’s Kitchen Garden program, and there’s plenty to do as we welcome the warmer spring weather! Students have been busy weeding and preparing the garden beds, while checking on the produce they planted last term and watching it grow.
The garden is looking lovely, with beetroot, silverbeet, potatoes, spring onions and strawberries growing, and little cherries beginning to form! Students have also been getting creative by making their very own scarecrow to help protect our growing garden. We’re looking forward to watching our garden thrive and seeing what we can harvest as the term progresses!
