Go Josie!
We are thrilled to share an exciting sporting update from our school community as Josie represents New South Wales at the Under 12 Girls National Hockey Championships in Newcastle this week.
Josie and her team have had a sensational tournament so far, kicking off on Monday morning with a thrilling, nail biting defeat against Queensland before following it up that afternoon with a dominant win over the ACT.
They kept their strong momentum going into Tuesday with a comfortable win against Tasmania, earning a well-deserved rest day on Wednesday.
Recharged and ready to go earlier today, NSW secured another impressive victory in their fourth game against South Australia.
At the time of this newsletter’s release, Josie is currently out on the field facing Western Australia, with the tournament set to wrap up tomorrow in their final match against Victoria.
We are incredibly proud of Josie’s efforts on the national stage, and we wish her and the entire NSW team the absolute best of luck as they finish out the championships!

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook
St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook, which has recently been updated following our school swimming carnival. Additionally, the handbook has now been revised to include the new records set by Josie, Lucy, Phoebe and Thibaud at our recent athletics carnival. This book is designed to give all members of our school community a clearer understanding of when our various sporting carnivals are conducted. It also outlines the processes and qualifying times required for students wishing to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events, alongside an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child can undertake in their respective sports.
