Year 12 Celebrations and

Final Weeks

As our Year 12 students enter their final week of secondary schooling, it has been a significant and emotional season filled with celebration, reflection, and gratitude. With only a short time remaining before exams, our school community has come together to honour the remarkable journey these students have taken and to pray God's blessing over the next chapter of their lives.

Throughout the year there have been many "lasts" for our Year 12 cohort, but recent events have carried a special significance as they mark the conclusion of their school years at Plenty Valley Christian College. While we know many students and families will remain connected to our community through future events and Alumni gatherings, there is something unique about these final moments shared with classmates and teachers.

One of the highlights was our special Blessing Assembly, where our Prep students presented handmade prayer cards and sang a song about trusting in God over the Year 12s. This beautiful act of encouragement deeply touched many hearts. The Preps also gave out little chocolates as study snacks, a thoughtful reminder of God's provision and care during this important season.

Staff hosted a generous morning tea, where students received prayers and words of encouragement, speaking life and hope into their futures.

The Year 12s will celebrate their final day of school tomorrow with joy and enthusiasm, treating senior students to a concert, participating in a colourful costume parade of honour around the oval, and enjoying a range of activities including food stalls, coffee van, and some wonderfully messy games. The day will conclude with a final prayer and the symbolic ringing of the bell, marking the end of their formal schooling journey.

As students now turn their attention to exam preparation, we ask our faithful PVCC community to continue praying for them. Please pray for peace, wisdom, strength, and confidence as they undertake their exams, and that they would know God's peace that surpasses all understanding during this significant transition in their lives.

We are incredibly proud of each of our Year 12 students and grateful for the contribution they have made to our College community. We trust that God has a wonderful future prepared for them and look forward to welcoming them back in years to come as valued members of our alumni family. May they continue to walk confidently in the plans and purposes He has for their lives.
