A message from Stage 2
Term 2 has been a busy and exciting time for our students. We are proud of them for showing PAX behaviour and making positive choices. Students will begin a maths unit this week focused on representing numbers. In this unit, they will explore different ways to read, write, and understand numbers, including using numerals, words, and visual models such as place value charts. The activities are designed to help students build their confidence working with numbers and deepen their understanding of how numbers are used in everyday life.
You may have had a chat with your child about the ancient cultures of the Inca, Maya, and Aztec, as we are well underway with our research in history lessons. Students are exploring these fascinating civilisations to learn about their way of life, achievements, and lasting impact on the world. This unit helps students develop their research skills and deepen their understanding of history.
We wish Ms Bullen all the best as she prepares for the arrival of her baby, and we look forward to welcoming Mr Laurie back in Week 9.
