Religious Education

We pray for all the children who are receiving Jesus in Holy Communion for the first time this weekend or who have done so in the past week. Fill their hearts with joy, love, and peace as they welcome Jesus into their lives in a special way. Help them to grow in faith, kindness, and compassion, following the example of Jesus each day.
First Communion Reflection Day
Last Tuesday, 2nd June, our First Communion candidates participated in a special Reflection Day as they prepared to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist on Sunday, 14 June. The day featured an engaging incursion by MakeBread, where students learned the art of breadmaking and thoroughly enjoyed tasting their freshly baked creations. Throughout the day, the students also took part in prayer and creative art activities and shared a special lunch together. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to deepen their understanding of the Eucharist and reflect on this important milestone in their faith journey.
Mini Vinnie's Can Drive
Sincere thanks to our wonderful Year 6 Mini Vinnie's Leaders, Alex, Sienna, Elle, and Angelina, and the amazing Year 5/6 teachers for their organisation and facilitation of this appeal. The cans collected will make a big difference in the lives of many people this Winter.
Thank you for your generosity.
Luke 3:10-11: “‘What should we do then?’ the crowd asked. John answered, ‘Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.’”
Feast of the Most Sacred Heart Of Jesus
June 12th is the feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Encouraging devotion to the Sacred Heart among our children is something beautiful we can do so they are aware of the unconditional love Jesus and God our Father has for us.
