SENIOR HOUSE ATHLETICS CARNIVAL Recap - Tuesday 5th August 2025

ย

With one eye on the skies, Donvale Primary was thrilled to enjoy perfect winter weather for our 2025 Senior House Athletics Carnival!

Our students rose to the occasion, demonstrating outstanding determination, resilience, and sportsmanship across a full day of track and field events. It was fantastic to see so many giving their all and supporting their house teams with such enthusiasm.

Congratulations to Grevillea, who stormed to victory as House Cup Champions with a total of 1,163 points โ€“ finishing 210 points ahead of Waratah in second place!

Students competed in a range of events across both track and field:

  • Field events: shot put, discus, high jump, long jump, and triple jump
  • Track events: hurdles, 100m seeded sprints, 200m sprint, and the optional 800m run

A highlight of the day was the ever-popular Teachers vs Students relay, where the SEDA students sprinted to 1st place. Hot on their heels, Mr Rodger led the teachers to a well-earned 2nd place finish!
