P.E Specialist Teacher
This week during P.E the year 3's-6's completed their hurdles training and results in preparation for Athletics Day.
The junior school were focusing on a P.E partner assessment rubric where they had to assess each others overarm throws using simple rubrics.
Moving forward in P.E, this will become a regular occurrence, where students will self assess themselves and their peers to tune in with their lessons and skills.
Peer Assessments- Overarm throws
Congratulations to our Division Football team who won 2 out of their scheduled 3 games today, representing MPS in the Nillumbik Division Interschool Sport Finals. Wow, we are just so incredibly proud of you all. Congratulations and well done team!
Congratulations to Lucas Giles who represented the U13 Monty Baseball Club in the Diamond Valley Junior Baseball League, at the State Winter Championships over the weekend.
While the win wasn’t theirs this time, the team played with heart, passion, and grit — digging deep and showing true resilience.
A special shoutout to Lucas on being named to the All Star Team – what an achievement! ⭐
We are so proud of you! Congratulations!
We wanted to share some exciting news about Thomas Grundy in year 4! He attended a 2 day soccer camp on the school holidays and from that he’s been invited to train with Melbourne Victory at their Advanced Football Centre. It’s a selection-only program for talented players in Melbourne and leads into their football academy. Congratulations on such a wonderful achievement Thomas, we are all so proud of you and can't wait to hear about your future success in soccer.
