The Grow Crew

Our Grow Crew has been hard at work in the garden since the start of term, giving our space some much-needed care and attention. Thanks to the students’ dedication, we are now seeing an abundance of produce, including tomatoes, cucumbers, tromboncino zucchini, white peaches and corn.

We also have watermelons and pumpkins developing, our eggplants are flowering (but not fruiting just yet), and there is even one determined artichoke making an appearance! It’s wonderful to have such a diverse range of fruits and vegetables, giving students the opportunity to see - and hopefully taste - foods they may not have encountered before.

Next week, we’ll be heading into the kitchen to cook something delicious using our freshly picked white peaches.
