2025 Premier's Spelling Bee
State Finals
On Friday 7th November, Kingston Chow from 5/6K, travelled to the Q Theatre in Penrith to take part in the Premier's Spelling Bee State Finals. Kingston was our senior finalist, making it through 11 rounds to win the Regional Final last term.
With only 32 students in the final and students coming from all over NSW, some as far away as Taree and Coonabarabran, the competition was intense.
Whilst students were eliminated each round, Kingston impressively made it to Round 4 of the competition. He did a wonderful job of spelling the words disorientate, metallurgist and spacious. Unfortunately, Kingston was eliminated after misspelling the word 'parentheses.'
Kingston should be extremely proud of his outstanding effort and for representing our school at such a high level. Congratulations Kingston.
