Consent Labs Returns to Surf Coast Secondary College

This year, Surf Coast Secondary College was proud to continue its ongoing partnership with Consent Labs, who visited us multiple times to deliver tailored workshops to a range of year levels.

Over the past few years, Consent Labs has worked closely with our students to build knowledge around consent—including in the context of the online world, alcohol and other drugs, respectful relationships, positive masculinity, recognising sexual assault, and establishing personal boundaries. Their engaging, age-appropriate sessions are designed to equip young people with practical tools they can use in everyday life.

The impact continues to be clear:

• 95.5% of students said they learned something practical they can incorporate into their day-to-day lives.
• 90% of students want to see Consent Labs return in the future.

We deeply value this ongoing partnership and look forward to continuing this important work with Consent Labs in the years to come.

The evening's discussion will be lead by leading Psychologist,  Dr. Michael Carr-Gregg, and will empower parents and caregivers to confidently navigate the digital world with their kids. Local organisation Meli will also be there to discuss their parenting support programs.

Headspace
