Term 3: Specialists News

Dream Big (Joanne)
Dream Big is a class held once a week that teaches the Design and Technologies curriculum. This term, senior students are exploring sustainable living. Students have created a mural about keeping our oceans clean and litter free. They are also learning about the importance of growing their own food and are growing plants from seed.
Students in Upper Primary have been using tools to make a product in their Dream Big classes. We have been exploring space and have created model rocket ships and parachutes.
Lower Primary students have been exploring how plants and animals are grown for food, clothing and shelter in their Dream Big classes. They have been exploring real objects such as leaves and flowers. Students have also been exploring how materials can be re-used and have made a watering can out of a recycled milk bottle.
