F-2 Class
(Mrs Bush and Ms Thorley)
It has been another busy and exciting two weeks in F/1/2!
In Maths, our Year 1/2 students have been developing their understanding of multiplication and division, while our Foundation students have been exploring measurement, focusing on length and width.
Our Kitchen Garden sessions have been a wonderful opportunity to explore Food Science, with students enjoying hands-on learning and discovering more about food and how it works.
In Literacy, we have loved our buddy reading sessions with the Year 5/6 class. The students have enjoyed sharing books, practising their reading and building connections with their older buddies.
Bush Play has been especially fun with all the water around at the moment! Mud slides and mud pies have become our specialty, and there has been plenty of imaginative play and exploration. We have also enjoyed playing tag through the wetlands, making the most of the natural environment around us.
And finally, the excitement is building as we count down to our sleepover! The students are eagerly anticipating this special experience, and the countdown has officially begun!
What a wonderful couple of weeks of learning, play, exploration and connection in F/1/2!
Ms Thorley and Ms Bush.
