Fathers Day Breakfast

We invite all of our fathers to come in and join us for a cooked breakfast from 8:30am tomorrow, Friday 4th September. (No cost, tea and coffee available).

Student illness

Please be aware we have recently been notified of cases of Influenza A and a suspected case of Whooping Cough.

Book Week

Last week we celebrated Book Week! 

In our classrooms, students read and enjoyed a selection of Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) nominated books, sparking rich discussions and ideas. We also held a wonderful parade in partnership with Rochester Shine Bright Kindergarten, before moving into multi-age groups where students participated in creative activities inspired by the CBCA stories.

R U OK Day  

Next Thursday 10th September is R U OK day. This national day of action encourages Australians to reach out and have meaningful conversations with friends, family, and colleagues to check in on their mental health and wellbeing. We are encouraging students to come dressed in a touch of yellow. We will also have a coffee Van onsite from 8:30 encouraging you to stop and check in with each other while you enjoy your coffee and watch the 'Jump Rope for Heart' skipping. This all forms part of our Health Expo day next Thursday.

Parent Opinion Survey Open (17th Aug -18th September)

Invitations with survey links and log in details for the Parent Opinion Survey were emailed to families via XUNO on Monday 17th August. We value your feedback and want to hear what you have to say about our lovely school. Last year we had a record 41 parents log on. (Currently 34)

Raffle Ticket offer - Once again families who complete the survey will enter our raffle as a thank you. To enter, please screen shot or print the screen to show the office you have completed the survey. You will then receive a ticket in the draw to win a $200 RBN  voucher. (Rochester Business Network)

Student Arrival time.

There have been an increasing number of students arriving at school quite early each morning. Please be advised that staff supervision begins at 8:40am and children should not be unsupervised in the yard before this time. We suggest parents and carers make use of the before school program if needed. Thank you for your help with this.

-Friday September 18th 

-Hotdog lunch (not on the Thursday) orders due 14th September

-Sno Cones for sale $3 (at recess).

-Dismissal time 2.20pm.
