Principal's Report

Debbie Oliver

Dear Parents and Carers,

After many years of dedicated service, Linda Williams, our Business Manager, has now retired, marking the end of a remarkable career in education.

Linda began her journey in schools at Seymour East Primary School in 1987 and has since worked at several schools, including Seymour Primary School, Seymour Technical High School, Euroa Primary School, and Avenel Primary School.

Throughout her time in education, Linda has always been a dedicated and valued member of staff. Her thoroughness, professionalism, and commitment to the school, colleagues and students alike have left a lasting impression on every school community she’s been part of.

I personally acknowledge and thank Linda for her expertise and advice over many years, but particularly in my first two years here as Principal of Seymour College.

We wish Linda nothing but the very best as she settles into her new home and enjoys more time in Melbourne with her daughter Erin and her beautiful grandson Patrick.

This week, we welcomed Merilyn de Hann, our new Business Manager, to the school. Merilyn is an ex-student of Seymour College, attending Grant Street Primary School and Seymour Technical High School. Merilyn has a wealth of experience in finance and has previously worked at Kurunjang Primary School, Rosehill Secondary College, Keilor Primary School and The Grange P-12.  Merilyn is looking forward to contributing to the school and wider community, and we are looking forward to working with her.

Warm regards,

Debbie Oliver
