Wow! It's nearly the end of the term already!
We've had a wonderful past two weeks in the Yellow Tails classroom. Highlights were definitely our Father's Day celebration and the Grade 5 CSC Come and Try Day.
A big thank you to the fathers, grandparents, uncles, cousins and brothers that attended school for our Father's Day breakfast. It was great to see so many people here.
The Grade 5 Colac Secondary College Come and Try Day was a massive hit on Wednesday. Students participated in PE, Science and Food Tech and had an absolute blast in their first taste of what it's like to attend a high school. The BBQ lunch was also very well received.
Finally, a huge congratulations to our Grade 5 student, Ava M. Ava was one of seven students shortlisted as part of the Collins Booksellers Young Writer Prize. Ava received a wonderful prize pack for being a shortlisted student. It is a massive achievement to be shortlisted from literally hundreds of entries. Well done Ava!
