Middle School Music Night

On Friday 23 May, Gibney Hall hosted this year’s Middle School Music Night, the first of 3 major music concerts this Term.

The evening featured a range of musical performances in front of a packed audience of family and friends. Audiences enjoyed the energetic Swing Band II and the pirate melodies of the Classical Guitar Ensemble II. The Symphonic Brass Ensemble gave a convincing performance of Godzilla before the stage was filled with the 90 strong voices of the Middle School Chorale. The program also included the Middle School Vocal Ensemble, whose well-rehearsed performance showcased their strong vocals.

Students from both Trinity College and Mercedes College joined together in several ensembles. The Trinity Mercedes String Ensemble I performed with enthusiasm and poise. The Trinity Mercedes Wind Band also gave a confident first performance. The night concluded with a dynamic finale from the Trinity Mercedes Wind Ensemble.

A warm thank you to all the families and friends who attended and supported our young performers.  We also extend our appreciation to the dedicated music staff whose hard work preparing the ensembles made the night such a success. Congratulations to all the students involved.
