On Friday 23 May, TOBA hosted its annual Sportsmen's Lunch and major fundraiser at Optus Stadium. What an awesome day it was with over 450 incredible community members in attendance, being our biggest gathering yet!
Congratulations to the Class of 1983 for taking out the 'Come with Strength and Vigour' trophy for the third year in a row for the highest attendance from a year group at the event. Four Old Boys were inducted into the TOBA Sporting Hall of Fame, including:
- Kevin Carton (’51) – Hockey
- Herbet Elliott (’54) – Athletics
- Michael Brennan (’82) – Australian Rules Football
- Jeremy McClure (’04) – Swimming
Former cricketer, Mitch Johnson was this year’s guest speaker and captured his audience with an insight to his cricketing career. Mark Readings ('87) was again the MC and as always was exceptional.
Thank you to our sponsors and those who donated to support TOBA. Contributions go towards educational bursaries to assist families in hardship that without financial help would be unable to afford a Trinity College education for their son.
