Foundation

The Foundation students returned to Term 3 with confidence and enthusiasm, quickly settling back into their classroom routines. It has been wonderful to see them reconnect with their peers and the school community, and watch them continue grow in confidence and independence as they build on all they have achieved so far this year.
NAIDOC Week
On the first week of Term 3, the Foundation students celebrated NAIDOC week. They learnt more about the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by learning about Dreamtime stories. They listened to a Dreamtime story, Warnayarra the Rainbow snake, and then painted their own versions of the rainbow snake.
