Cubs Club Supports Children in Thailand

The Donvale Cubs Club donated the funds that were raised at our Father’s Day Breakfast to Sunshine Children’s Home in Thailand. The donation will make a meaningful difference, equating to approximately 570 meals or 1,900 bus fares to school for local children.

We received a beautiful message of thanks from some of the children at this school.

We are incredibly proud of our Cubs Club members for choosing such a worthwhile cause and demonstrating the power of kindness, generosity and community spirit!

Pen Pals

The Cubs have written their first letters to the children in a Thai school connected with the Lions Club. The school participating in our Pen Pal activity is located in a very isolated area, along a mountain road near the border. The school has no Wi-Fi, relies on solar power for limited lighting and has a restricted water supply.

Here are some of the letters that our Cubs have written that will be emailed to the Thai children.

Food Drive

The Cubs will be running another food drive after last year's successful event. This will take place on Friday, 4 December. Look out for more information coming soon.

Our Cubs are certainly making a difference to less fortunate people than themselves.
