Good afternoon, families,
What a beautiful autumn week it has been to kick off Term 2! I hope you all had a refreshing break and are as excited as we are for another action-packed term here at St Louis.

ANZAC Day
Today, we pause to observe ANZAC Day, a deeply significant moment in the Australian calendar. We honour the memory of the Australians and New Zealanders who served and sacrificed their lives in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions.
This morning, our school captains, two more of our Year students, and Mr Wood proudly represented St Louis at the Kingston Council’s ANZAC march in Chelsea to commemorate the anniversary of the 1915 Gallipoli landing.

Senior Athletics Carnival
Last Wednesday was a standout day for our community. Between the perfect weather, our amazing students, and our hard-working staff, the Senior Athletics Carnival was a resounding success.
A special thank you to:

Lightning Premiership
Our Year 6 students gave it their all at the Lightning Premiership yesterday. Huge congratulations to our Boys' Cricket and Basketball teams, who have both successfully progressed to the regional finals later this year! Thank you to our Year 6 teachers, LSOs, and Mr Andrew for their support throughout the day.
St Louis’ Feast Day & Whole School Cross Country
Tuesday, 28 April, is the Feast Day of St Louis de Montfort.
We have a full day of celebration and sport planned:
Volunteers Needed: We would love to see parents there! If you can help with the Cross Country or the sausage sizzle, please keep an eye out for an Operoo from Mr. Andrew on Monday.
Year 4 First Eucharist
Our Year 4 students are currently preparing for their First Communion on Sunday, 17 May.
Parents and students are invited to our Eucharist Faith Night on Thursday, 30 April. There are two sessions available in the Church: 5:00 pm or 6:30 pm. Please refer to the RE page of this newsletter for further details.
Enjoy your weekend.
