Welcome Back to School

It has been wonderful to welcome students back to Montmorency Primary and to meet our new Foundation students. The start of the year has been filled with smiles, reconnecting with friends, and settling into new routines.

Students have begun the year by exploring the school’s garden spaces and revisiting how to care for them. As part of this, we have created our gardening groups and chosen group names — a tradition we enjoy each year. Some of this year’s creative group names include The Cherry Champions and the Gracious Gumtrees.

This semester, I will be working with our senior students in Gardening, with junior students joining the program later in the year. We are looking forward to a busy and rewarding year in the garden.

A big thank you to the families who helped care for the garden over the summer holidays. Thanks to your support, the garden is thriving and producing plenty of fresh produce and flowers for students to enjoy.
