Health & P.E.

We have started off the year a little differently in P.E this year. It has been wonderful to pause, reflect, wish and goal set for the year ahead. All students at MPS have completed 2026 goals for the upcoming sport year. We look forward to reflecting on these at the conclusion of 2026, to see if we have achieved what we have set out to do.

On Sunday, 18th January Emily H had the privilege of tossing the coin at the Australian Open for the Alcaraz vs Walton match on Rod Laver Arena — a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Emily was selected for this opportunity through her participation in the Victorian Super 10s Training Squad and her U/11 Zone Squad training, having qualified for these squads as a result of her development through Fireball Tennis. Her love of tennis continues to grow thanks to the fun she has both on and off the court, from training and competitions to the inclusive atmosphere at her local club and the life skills she is learning along the way.
Congratulations to Kitt I who competed at the Vic Metro Swimming championships recently. Kitt absolutely blitzed it in the pool and won not one, but two medals! You are an incredible swimmer Kitt, congratulations and we can't wait to see where you future takes you.
Another big congratulations to Lucas G who has been selected to represent the Rep Victorian Baseball Team. Lucas plays for the Montmorency Baseball Club and has already achieved so much with in this sport. We cannot wait to hear how you go at the tournament! Wishing you all the very best Lucas
