Whole School Events

Toy Fund Concert - Monday 15th December (9.00am to 9.30am)
Once again, our annual Toy Fund Concert will be held on the final Monday of the school year during our usual assembly time. All families are welcome; it's truly a wonderful whole school event! All classes are involved. Students may wear Christmas inspired outfits to school for the day if they want to. There is NO gold coin required.
If your family would like to donate an unwrapped toy/gift to a child in need, it would be greatly appreciated. The St. Vincents de Paul Society will collect the gifts at the assembly.
Please note that new toys, for a girl or boy, must not be wrapped. This means that children from families in need may select toys that they are interested in.
Your child will have an opportunity at school to write a little gift card and tape it to the toy before placing it under the school's Christmas tree. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to show empathy by giving to others who are less fortunate than themselves.
Remembrance Day Service
Our Remembrance Day Service was held on Tuesday 11th November. We wish to thank and congratulate our grade 6 Junior School Council for leading the service. Once again, our inspiring student leaders demonstrated excellent preparation and public speaking.
We are very grateful to Warrant Officer Rhys Gould (Aurora's dad), our special guest who spoke to the students about the significance of Remembrance Day. Sincere thanks to everyone who attended our Remembrance Day Service.
All classes contributed to a whole school display; a wall of poppies. Please feel welcome to visit the wonderful and meaningful display in the corridor near Rooms 6 and 8.
