Year 10 Work Experience
During Week 3 of Term 4, fourteen Year 10 students took part in a week of work experience with an employer of their choice. Many students took the opportunity to venture beyond Donald, with placements in Melbourne, Bendigo, St Arnaud, and Warracknabeal.
This was a fantastic experience for our students. For some, it affirmed their interest in a particular career, while for others, it helped them realise that perhaps it wasn’t the right fit. Regardless of the outcome, it was a valuable experience that will support their ongoing career planning.
The student evaluations I have received from employers have been extremely positive, with most students receiving glowing feedback. Sincere thanks must go to all the employers who generously hosted our students — we could not do it without their support.
