Is it a Bird? It is a plane? No it’s a clay target!

St Arnaud – NCD Clay Bird School Shoot

On Wednesday 29th October two Donald High School students competed in the ‘Down the Line’ (DTL) school shoot at the St Arnaud Gun Club against other schools in the North Central District competition.

15 students in total from four different schools competed on the day. Maryborough won overall, Donald Team consisting of Hayden and Lyric represented Donald proudly and came second. Hayden took out 2nd in Senior boys with a score of 19/30

The school would like to thank Peter Pendlebury for transporting the students and offering coaching on the day. 

INTER-SCHOOL BOWLS 

Nine students represented the school at the Inter-school Bowls held at St Arnaud. The three Donald teams played students form Maryborough, Wycheproof, Boort, St Arnaud and Wedderburn.

At the conclusion of play, Maryborough were the victors with Donald only four points behind.

Well done to our bowlers who all tried their best and nearly won the day.
