Senior School Report

As we wrap up Term 3, it's hard to believe how quickly this year has passed! We hope everyone is looking forward to a well-deserved break during the upcoming holidays. Before we bid farewell to this term, here are some important updates and reminders:

Course Counselling Success: Throughout this term, we have been working with students in Years 9, 10, and 11 to provide one-on-one course counselling sessions. These sessions are designed to help students make informed decisions about their subject selections for the year 2024.  As a college we are committed to supporting our students in their academic journey.

Year 12 SEAS and VTAC Applications: Our Year 12 students have been hard at work finalising their SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme) and VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre) applications as they prepare to choose their preferred courses for 2024. Please remember that timely VTAC applications close at 5pm on the 28th of September. To avoid any late fees, students should submit their preferences and make their payments before this deadline.

Year 12 Practice Exams: In Term 4, our Year 12 students will have the opportunity to gauge their readiness with practice exams. These exams will take place on Monday, October 2nd, as well as on Friday, October 6th and 13th. It's an excellent chance for our seniors to refine their exam-taking skills before the real thing!

VCAA Exams: The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) exams are just around the corner. They will commence with English and EAL (English as an Additional Language) on Tuesday, October 24th, and continue through to Wednesday. Our Year 12 students have been diligently preparing, and we wish them the best of luck in their exams.

Year 12 Celebration Day: Lastly, mark your calendars for Thursday, October 19th, as it's the Final Day for our Year 12 students. We'll be celebrating their achievements and saying our farewells as they embark on the next exciting chapter of their lives. The college will host its annual Year 12 Celebration Day, a memorable event for all involved.

As we approach the end of Term 3, we want to extend our best wishes to all students and their families for a relaxing and enjoyable break. It's a time to rejuvenate, recharge, and come back ready to tackle the challenges of Term 4.

Wishing you all a safe and restful holiday break!
