St Simons Primary School
Division Cross Country Achievements!
On Wednesday 28th May, a handful of our students competed on a drizzly cold day at the Knox Division Cross Country Championships. St Simon the Apostle had 11 students compete on the day which advanced from the District competition, a massive achievement to get to this level of competition amongst all the Knox schools. A particular shout out to our Year 5 and 6 students who had to leave camp early and take a 3 hour journey from camp by bus to the venue to compete on the day. It shows that their willingness to compete and dedication to their skills in this sport are a testament of their hard work ethic and they should be proud of their achievements on the day.
Well done to all students and their wonderful achievement at the Knox Division Cross Country! Their marathon long distance skills were put to the test on the course which resulted in amazing placing. We are so proud of their results and effort!
