VCE OUTDOOR AND ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

ADAMS CREEK CONSERVATION RESERVE

As part of the VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies program, students visited the Adams Creek Conservation Reserve in Lang Lang, where they were fortunate to meet Catherine, Judy, and David from the Save Westernport Woodlands Conservation Group.

During the excursion, students gained valuable first-hand insights from our knowledgeable guides, who shared their expertise on the significance of the reserve. Adams Creek Conservation Reserve is one of the last remaining native woodland corridors in the Westernport Bay region. Students learned about the range of endangered flora and fauna that call the reserve home, the ongoing conservation efforts to protect this important habitat, and the unique natural features of the area.

We encourage everyone to explore this remarkable reserve and learn more about the work being done to preserve it for future generations.
