Performing Arts

Classes started back this week and it has been amazing to see the energy and enthusiasm from students in Performing arts. Grades have been working hard creating and learning dance moves in preparation for this year’s production of Alice In Wonderland.

The cast have continued to meet and run lines and actions for the upcoming show. Their dedication to turning up during break times to practice is to be commended. Students have been told it will be scripts down from week 5 as they should know their lines by then. 

This week students were selected to assist with backstage. Congratulations to Mila, Harry, Rewi and Indianna who join the cast with an important role to play with setting up each scene for the performance.

Important dates:

Monday 23rd of June: Full rehearsal with cast, backstage and P-2 students

Wednesday 25th of June: Show Day (9.30am and 4pm shows)

*Parents, carers, family members are invited to come along to either show.
