Welcome Back

Welcome back to term 2. Everyone has settled in well and we had a big first week with our Anzac Day Ceremony and the School Cross Country.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to and participated in our recent ANZAC Day ceremony. It was a truly moving and respectful occasion, and I am incredibly proud of the way our school community came together to honour the service and sacrifice of our veterans.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our staff and students for the care and thoughtfulness they brought to the ceremony. Your attention to detail and the solemn respect shown throughout the event demonstrated a deep understanding of the significance of ANZAC Day.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to our parents and families who joined us for the service. Your presence and support added greatly to the sense of community and respect that was so clearly evident.

A special thank you to the classes who created the beautiful wreaths laid during the ceremony. Your creativity and care provided a touching and visual tribute that was deeply appreciated by all.

It is events like these that remind us of the strength of our community and the importance of coming together to remember and reflect. Thank you all once again for making our ANZAC Day ceremony such a memorable and respectful occasion.

Lest we forget.

On Thursday 24th April, we also held our annual School Cross Country Day. It was fantastic to see all students giving their best effort, having fun, and showing wonderful encouragement towards their peers.

The spirit of sportsmanship was alive and well, and the sea of vibrant house colours made for a fantastic spectacle.

A special congratulations to our Prep students who participated in their very first cross country event – we are so proud of you!

We also wish the best of luck to the students who have qualified for the District Cross Country, which will be held on Tuesday 6th May.

Thank you to all the parents and families who came along to cheer and support our students – your involvement helped make the day such a great success.

Regards
