Grade 3

What's happening

Grade 3C spent some time working in groups to create a tower using spaghetti and marshmallows.

There were lots of giggles, lots of fails but fun time had by all.

This week, our Grade 3 students have been engaging in a variety of meaningful learning experiences, with a strong focus on wellbeing.

We explored what it means to be respectful, kind, accepting, and helpful, and discussed how these values help create a positive and supportive classroom environment.

As part of our personal development, students wrote thoughtful letters to their future selves, outlining their hopes and goals for Term 2. This was a great opportunity for them to reflect on their learning journey and set intentions for the term ahead.

We also spent time learning about ANZAC Day, its historical significance, and the importance of remembrance. Students contributed to creating a beautiful class wreath, which was laid during our special school assembly on Thursday. It was a touching moment and a valuable chance for students to develop a deeper understanding of Australia's history and the values of courage, sacrifice, and resilience.
