OPEN DOOR NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE - HELP WANTED
Open Door Neighbourhood House have joined forces with the 'Second Bite' program which aims to redirect surplus food to those in need and they have commenced a trial program with Coles Wangaratta.
They are looking for volunteers to collect surplus perishable food (fruit & veggies, bread products) from Coles each weekday morning - this will not include school holiday periods.
You would be required to be at Coles at approximately 8.00am, able to fit 4-5 crates in your car and deliver some crates to Open Door Neighbourhood House in Burke Street as well as Yarrunga and Our Lady's schools.
If you are interested in helping out please contact Emma on 57219175 for more information. You don't need to commit to 5 days per week - they would be grateful if anyone could commit to even just do 1 day per week.
