A Message from the

Mrs Carolyn Parsell
Dear Parents and Carers,
It was a delight to see so many of our Dads, Grandfathers and father-like figures gathered at St Martha’s last week to celebrate Fathers’ Day. My gratitude to all those who worked hard to provide a beautiful breakfast and lovely prayer service. Our P&F committee and their helpers did an amazing job with a delicious breakfast feast. It was great to see the camaraderie of the dads and a grandad on the barbeque and lovely to see the community gather to pay tribute to our Dads. Special thanks to Year 4 for organising a touching prayer service and to Fr John for joining us in prayer. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful opportunity to connect with one another and to pray for all the fathers in our lives. God, our Father, gifted us with beautiful weather for the event.
Many thanks to those parents who have responded to the invitation to meet regarding the revision of our school Mission and Vision. A collaboration meeting will be held prior to the Amadeus Ensemble Performance on Friday 19th September. Light refreshments will be served and we will spend time working through the initial work prepared by the staff from 1:00 to 2:00pm. It will be a chance to have your say in the way we express what we do at St Martha’s and what we want to achieve in the future. If you would like to join us, please complete the form attached.
During the first four weeks of Term 4, I will be on long service leave. Mr Steven Belcastro will step up to the role of Principal and Mrs Cindy Ronzini will take on the role of Assistant Principal, in my absence. I know they will be well supported by the staff and the school community in these roles.
Peace and best wishes,
Carolyn Parsell
