What's Happening

SWPBS Update & Acknowledgment System
It’s been wonderful to see our students continuing to demonstrate Carnegie Primary School’s values of Respect, Resilience, Curiosity and Integrity throughout Term 3!
We’re pleased to share that minor behaviour incidents decreased by 40% from Term 2 to Term 3, from 379 to 229 incidents. This is a positive step forward and highlights the importance of teaching, reinforcing and celebrating the behaviours that help everyone feel safe, respected and ready to learn.
Our school value acknowledgements continue to recognise students who demonstrate these values in their everyday actions, whether they are showing kindness, persisting with a challenge, acting with honesty or approaching learning with curiosity.
There is also a little friendly competition happening across our grades! At the end of Term 4, the grade with the highest number of value acknowledgements will receive a special reward. We look forward to celebrating our students as they continue to put our school values into action.
Thank you to our families for supporting these values at home and helping us build a positive and connected school community!
